Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a clinically focused treatment designed to restore balance and improve overall function. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, imbalances in the body’s 12 main meridian systems can lead to pain and dysfunction. By inserting fine needles into specific points, acupuncture stimulates the nervous system, enhances circulation, and reduces inflammation. Acupuncture treats a wide range of medical conditions. Including, acupuncture for back pain and shoulder pain, helping to improve mobility and decrease tension. These acupuncture benefits support both immediate symptom relief and long-term health outcomes. Treatments are available across Vancouver Island, including acupuncture in Tofino, and are tailored to deliver targeted, effective results.

Qi Gong-Style Bodywork

Qi Gong-style bodywork treatments are a hands-on therapy that works with the subtleties of the nervous system. Aimed at regulating the nervous system and improving overall systemic function. Sessions incorporate myofascial release, gentle mobilization, and meridian-based techniques to address tension and imbalance. Treatments are adapted in real time to meet your current condition, supporting release across physical, emotional, and energetic layers. This approach is suited for both chronic tension and stress-related patterns, with a focus on consistent, measurable improvement. If you’re searching for bodywork near you, these sessions provide a restorative form of care.

Following many years of engagement with various healing modalities one thing has become consistantly and abundantly clear to me: energetic wounds respond most favourably to energetic forms of healing… Enter the lovely Layla and the gentle healing practice of medical qi gong.. Intricatly connecting pulse, organ function, and the complex fascial anatomy, it aims to allign intentional movemement with intuitive feeling. Naturally stimulating the flow of stagnant energy along meridian channels. using a hands on approach, it is a patient Dance of reveal, request, response, and release. Combining ancient wisdom with skillful technique to subtly guide and facilitate the body’s own innate capacity to heal… 2 years (and some sessions) later, we’ve moved mountains! I am finally virtually pain free. Results didn’t happen linearly, or overnight, but then sustainable results rarely do. While release begins with recognizing what isn’t ours to carry, our ability to expand is intimatly connected to our capacity to recieve.
